Espresso Primary is one of the leading digital curriculum services in the UK, covering all subjects from Foundation to the top of Key Stage 2. It is where teachers find learning platform-ready video clips, multimedia activities, planning tools and printable resources that are proven to make a difference in the classroom and save teachers 50% of their time.

Espresso is updated weekly with fresh resources and topical ‘News Bites’, and now includes 105 instructional videos that support the teaching of systematic, synthetic phonics. They have also refreshed their home page which now features different daily content and includes a ‘Game zone’ and ‘Daily challenge’.

Espresso has been a lead partner with LGfL for many years. Together we have created a number of ‘Content Club’ modules that are on the Espresso Primary service and are also available to all LGfL schools via the LGfL content grid.

Helping you succeed with Curriculum 2014

Espresso’s team of pedagogy experts are doing a number of things to help schools succeed with Curriculum 2014. Including:

  • Publishing a teacher’s guide of all the key changes
  • Creating brand new, challenging resources to cover new objectives
  • Developing new CPD sessions to help schools plan ahead of September 2014

Home access to Espresso for Teachers

Teacher home access to the full Espresso service is available via the LGfL USO login for schools that have an existing full subscription. This means that teachers can plan lessons at a time most convenient for them regardless of location. Click on the launch button above, to access this service. You will need to have a LGfL USO account to gain teacher home access.

Espresso Home Learning for Pupils

Espresso offers Pupil Home Access which provides pupils, and their parents, with access to the full Espresso service from home. You also receive access to a special Home learning area with a ‘Parents’ guide, encouraging greater use of Espresso in homework tasks. This service is offered directly from Espresso at an additional charge to schools.
